Inclusive Future: Promoting inclusion through sustainable education

Project overview :

Inclusive Future is a pioneering initiative funded under the Erasmus+ programme (ERASMUS-EDU-2024-POL-EXP) aiming to integrate sustainability competences in primary and secondary education, while promoting inclusive educational practices. The project is aligned with European policy priorities (Greencomp) and focuses on integrating environmental awareness, resource management and sustainable living principles into school curricula. By promoting equal access to education, Inclusive Future ensures that students from different backgrounds, including marginalised communities, benefit from high quality learning opportunities.

Goals:

  • Development of integrated curriculum models for the development and assessment of sustainability competences
  • Strengthening the capacity and preparedness of teachers in delivering and evaluating education for sustainable development and in low-income rural areas
  • Piloting innovative pedagogical practices to promote sustainability
  • Empowering teachers, students and parents as "Agents of Change"
  • Promoting and fostering inclusion and diversity in education for sustainable development
  • Supporting the alignment of policies with sustainability capacities
