🗺️ A museum, a story told on maps!

The October 28th celebration at Big Bang School was transformed into a living museum.

The students created interactive maps, on which they placed events, people, and emotions — and through their participation, they themselves became storytellers of history.

First Grade: A multisensory map about war and peace.

Second Grade: The Greco-Italian War and the contribution of women in Pindus.

Third Grade: The Massacre of Chortiatis.

Fourth Grade: The triple occupation and the resistance against it.

Fifth Grade: The expansion of the Axis in Europe, the alliances and neutral countries, maps of concentration camps, and the train routes shown on the map.

Sixth Grade: The major battles of World War II on the world map.

From the emotions of First Grade to the global map of Sixth Grade, the children captured the magnitude of a world war through the lens of knowledge, empathy, and collaboration.

Physical and political maps came together in one great narrative:

a journey that begins with “me and others” and reaches the understanding of the world. 🌍
