Phonics: from sound to reading

What might lie behind two simple phonics pages?

In this example, children begin with sounds and words, connect vocabulary with pictures and context, and then move on to a short decodable text.

The idea is simple:

SOUND → WORD → CONTEXT → READING

Because a good activity is not only about what the child does. It is also about the path we design to guide them from sound to reading.

And because we want you to see it and try it in your own classroom, we are offering the two Bob the Dog pages for free.
