A small heart imprint from this year’s Lantern Festival 🕯️

On Monday, January 5, on the eve of Epiphany, we came together.

Young and old alike.

With a candle in hand and a name in mind.

We honored a Pontic tradition, passed down from generation to generation, reminding us that light is not only to illuminate our path, but also to keep memory alive.

We lit candles for loved ones who have passed away and walked around the school with music, silence, and emotion.

With a voice carrying memory and respect, Elsa Mouratidou (Elsa Mouratidou) filled the evening with light. She connected the past with the present and opened space for the future, accompanied by Sakis Laios on the piano.

For us at Big Bang School and the School of Nature, this celebration is not simply a custom. It is a life lesson for our children and for us.

Memory, connection, respect, community.

Thank you for being there.
