🧪 🔬 Moments to treasure from the past school year...
During the past school year, the Big Bang School Chemistry Workshop group, made up of students from Grades 1 to 5, had the opportunity to visit the Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
For the children who meet every week at the school’s Chemistry Workshop, this visit was a natural continuation of their exploration. They discovered a real laboratory, learned about its equipment and safety rules, and watched experimental demonstrations that brought chemistry to life before their eyes.
They observed, asked questions, formed hypotheses and discovered that science is found not only in books, but above all in the process of inquiry and experimentation.
Experiences like these develop not only scientific knowledge, but also children’s curiosity, critical thinking, collaboration and confidence to explore the world around them.
Looking back on the school year that has just ended, we fondly remember moments like this, which confirm that the most meaningful learning happens when knowledge meets experience. ✨
