Together again for a new school year

Last week, we, the teachers of Big Bang School, came together again.

Smiles, hugs, stories from the holidays and, alongside them, the first preparations for the new school year.

Professional development, pedagogical sessions, discussions, planning and exchanging ideas. Before we think about what children will learn, we need to think about how we want them to learn: through experience, inquiry, creativity, collaboration and connecting knowledge with life.

Because everything is connected...

And of course, somewhere in between all this… we found time for some weeding, too.

Because every part of a school needs care.

The new school year begins with plans, questions and plenty of enthusiasm for everything we will create together.
